Men chatting

You're not alone

Concerns about penis size are among the most common male health worries worldwide โ€” yet they're rarely talked about openly. That silence does real harm. When men can't discuss these concerns honestly, anxiety festers, confidence suffers, and men avoid seeking help they genuinely need.

This site exists to change that. We believe the conversation around penis size deserves the same openness as any other health topic โ€” free from shame, mockery, or stigma. The data shows that the vast majority of men fall within a perfectly healthy range, yet cultural myths and unrealistic portrayals continue to fuel unnecessary anxiety.

Whether you're here out of curiosity, reassurance, or genuine concern โ€” you're welcome. Use the tool below to compare your measurements against national averages, and remember: a number doesn't define you.

๐Ÿ“ How to measure correctly

All data on this site refers to erect (not flaccid) length. Flaccid and erect size are not strongly correlated โ€” men described as "growers" increase substantially when erect, while "showers" appear larger when flaccid but grow less proportionally. Comparing your flaccid size to erect averages is not meaningful.

To measure accurately: measure erect from the pubic bone to the tip along the top of the shaft, pressing gently against the pubic bone to account for any fat pad. Do not measure along the underside or at an angle. Self-reported measurements in surveys consistently overestimate by 1โ€“2 cm compared to clinician-measured studies.

๐Ÿฉบ When to see a doctor

The vast majority of men are within a clinically normal range. However, you should consult a GP or urologist if:

  • โ€ข Your erect length measures less than 7 cm (2.75 in) โ€” the clinical definition of micropenis
  • โ€ข You experience pain, significant curvature, or difficulty with erections or urination
  • โ€ข Size concerns are significantly affecting your mental health or relationships

A doctor can provide an objective clinical measurement, rule out conditions such as Peyronie's disease, and refer you to appropriate specialists. There is no need to feel embarrassed โ€” these are extremely common consultations.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Mental health & support

Anxiety about penis size is one of the most common male body image concerns. Studies suggest 45โ€“68% of men express dissatisfaction with their size โ€” yet the vast majority are clinically normal. If these concerns are affecting your confidence or wellbeing, support is available.

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects an estimated 1 in 5 men at some point in their lives. It's far more common than most people realise โ€” and it's very treatable. ED can be caused by physical factors, psychological factors, or a combination of both.

Like concerns about size, ED is often suffered in silence due to embarrassment. But it's a recognised medical condition with well-established treatments. There's no reason to manage it alone.
