About Pendex

Clear information for men's health

Pendex exists because men's health information should be easier to understand. We have a particular interest in providing straightforward information about sexual health, body image, and related areas of wellbeing using reliable public sources.

Topics around men's health are often surrounded by exaggerated claims, commercial pressure, embarrassment, and advice that is difficult to verify. We aim to offer a quieter alternative: clear explanations, appropriate context, and links to reputable organisations and further information. We avoid promising quick fixes or presenting a single statistic as a measure of someone's health, identity, or worth.

Our country comparisons bring together public datasets and published sources so that population-level information can be viewed in one place. The figures are intended to help people understand broad patterns, not to provide a personal diagnosis or a standard that anyone is expected to meet. Natural variation is wide, and a national average says very little about an individual person.

A supportive, responsible approach

We try to write for the general public, using medical language where it improves accuracy and plain language where it improves understanding. When a question is personal, persistent, or causing concern, information online has limits. A GP, urologist, sexual health clinician, or qualified mental health professional can offer advice based on an individual's circumstances.

Pendex is not a medical provider. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See our methodology page for details on how we use public data and preserve source context.
